Iconic
Made in His image.
Everything is "iconic" now: an outfit, a meme, a celebrity's look. Students are told that to matter, you have to be seen, posted and talked about. But the word icon comes from the Greek eikon, the same word the Bible uses for image. Before anyone ever posted you, God made you in His image. ICONIC takes students back to where their worth really comes from. Over four weeks they'll see that they were made to reflect God, how sin cracked the image, how Jesus is the true and perfect image of God, and how He is restoring that image in them day by day. It's an identity series that goes deeper than self-esteem.

The 4 weeks
Iconic week by week
Week 1: Image Bearer
Genesis 1:26-31; Psalm 139:13-14
Before you did anything, God made you in His image and called it very good. Your worth was set before your first post.
Week 2: Cracked
Genesis 3; Romans 3:23
Sin didn't erase the image, but it cracked it. That's why we feel the gap between who we are and who we're meant to be.
Week 3: The Real Icon
Colossians 1:15-20; Hebrews 1:3
Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Want to know what God is like, and what you were made to be? Look at Him.
Week 4: Restored
2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 3:9-10
As we look at Jesus, we're being transformed into His image, one degree at a time. God is restoring the masterpiece.
