A Work of Art
You are God's handiwork.
Paul says we are God's workmanship, the Greek word poiema, where we get the word poem. You weren't mass-produced. You were handcrafted by the greatest Artist there is, and not just to hang on a wall. A WORK OF ART shows students that God made them on purpose and for a purpose. Over four weeks they'll see that they're His handiwork, that He's still shaping them like a potter with clay, that their gifts are meant to be used, and that God always finishes what He starts. It's a series about calling and purpose for students who wonder if their life really matters.

The 4 weeks
A Work of Art week by week
Week 1: Handmade
Ephesians 2:8-10
You're God's poiema, His masterpiece. Saved by grace, not by works, but created for good works He planned ahead of time.
Week 2: On the Wheel
Jeremiah 18:1-6; Isaiah 64:8
God is the potter, we are the clay. When life presses on you, He's not breaking you. He's shaping you.
Week 3: Colours
1 Corinthians 12:4-27; 1 Peter 4:10
Every believer gets gifts from the Spirit. Your colour isn't the same as anyone else's, and the picture's incomplete without it.
Week 4: Signed
Philippians 1:6; 2 Corinthians 5:17
Artists sign finished work. God started something in you, and He promises to finish it.
